Joe Carrillo became a licensed private investigator in 1988 after serving two years as an investigative intern. Joe has traveled the globe representing clients both in the private and corporate sector. He has over 25 murder cases in his career including two child killers giving him vast insight into the minds of the most serious of criminals. Joe is credited for the capture of the infamous Shenandoah Rapist in 2003 just four days after a federal task force was dissolved without success.
Since 2005, Joe has been searching for, locating, and bringing home runaway kids. Joe has brought home over 900 kids one at a time never charging any parent a fee for his services. Joe’s knowledge of substance abuse comes from his own experiences having had numerous overdoses and rehab stints; he has been sober since 1983. To Joe a kid on drugs is not a bad kid but a sick kid.
In 2014 the Bringing Them Home Project was born. Today we are statewide with partnerships in the private, corporate, and law enforcement sectors.
Having lived one day at a time since 1983, Joe learned the power of the number one.
